she/her
Jackie spent the last 20 years lovingly restoring a 240-year-old historic home on a 105-acre organic farm to create a farm-stay experience that welcomes and teaches travelers the world over about organic food and farming practices. From that experience, Jackie brings to The Partnership a wide range of skills in areas such as project management, human resources, marketing, event planning, and more. Prior to innkeeping, Jackie had more than 10 years of experience in collegiate, business, and state-level recycling programs focusing on strengthening New Hampshire’s recycling infrastructure. In her role with the U.S. Plastics Pact, Jackie is responsible for supporting and engaging Activators and helping the team achieve its ambitious targets.
Why I Care About Recycling and a Circular Economy
“I’ve always been passionate about the environment, and recycling just makes sense to me. Being thoughtful about what we produce and finding creative ways to reuse our waste materials are important strategies to help conserve our natural resources, prevent pollution, save energy, and create valuable jobs rather than fill holes in the ground with those same materials never to be used again.”
Personal Passions and Interests
When not spending time with her family, Jackie is happiest growing cut flowers to share with others, foraging for wild mushrooms, kayaking the Connecticut River, or being pretty much anywhere outside appreciating the beauty of nature.
