Her leadership emphasizes voluntary participation, independent decision-making, and the exchange of knowledge to support real-world progress. By fostering a constructive environment for problem-solving and innovation, she is helping guide efforts to address complex sustainability challenges and advance circularity for plastic packaging in the United States.
Why I Care About the Circular Economy
“As a mom, I think a lot about my children’s health, happiness, and opportunities. I realized that all the vacations, activities, and educational opportunities in the world don’t matter if they don’t have a safe planet to live on. Working toward a circular economy protects my children’s futures.”
Personal Passions and Interests
When not working to further the circular economy, Crystal is most likely chasing her kids around. Her family enjoys hiking, water activities, and traveling.
