What makes it particularly smart or circular? Amcor’s AmPrima™ PE Plus solutions employ a variety of technologies including proprietary techniques to deliver unmatched levels of stiffness, clarity, graphics performance, heat resistance and run speeds in a recycle-ready PE-based solution. This allows us to reach very demanding applications such as spouted pouches and flow-wraps with a solution compatible with PE film recycling. AmPrima™ PE Plus has received pre-qualification from How2Recycle® for a film recycling label when used in clean & dry applications.
Results, Benefits, and Outcomes to Date: Life cycle assessment studies have shown that, when recycled, AmPrima™ PE Plus has up to a 46% lower carbon footprint than incumbent solutions, delivering a through-and-through a more sustainable packaging solution.

Our data-driven approach and open communication allowed us to secure a responsible innovation recognition from the APR and a pre-qualification from How2Recycle®.
