The U.S. Plastics Pact is a mission-driven nonprofit bringing together businesses, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and research institutions that work together toward a common vision of a world without plastic waste, as outlined by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy Initiative. This vision aims to eliminate the plastics we don’t need, foster innovations that ensure the plastics we do need are reusable, recyclable, or compostable, and ultimately build an infrastructure and consumer behavior based on circularity, so that all the plastic items we use are kept in the economy and out of the environment.
The 130+ companies and organizations that make up the U.S. Plastics Pact are working together, each doing their part, to further our collective vision, but we won’t succeed without your help.
